Some users have asked why they would use or upgrade to Media Rage, when MP3 Rage is available and seems to have more tools than Media Rage. We hope that this table clarifies what each product offers. In a nutshell, MP3 Rage has a few more tools for working with MP3s and runs of Mac OS 9, but it does not work with AAC, FLAC, BWF, AIFF, WAVE, or Ogg Vorbis files, nor does it support Unicode tag data. Also, the tools in Media Rage have been revamped to include many new features that MP3 Rage tools do not have. We suggest Media Rage over MP3 Rage, unless you really have a use for some of the tools that are not included in Media Rage, or are limited to using OS9. If there is a tool you would really like to see make it into Media Rage, please let us know.
